Samyuktha Sridhar

I am a producer, filmmaker, and photographer based in New York City.

I aspire to explore the depth and beauty of our diverse human existence, and I hope to challenge my own beliefs in the process. I seek to platform stories from unheard perspectives, that give rise to cinematic worlds filled with allegory, tenderness, and nuance.

I received my M.A. in News & Documentary Journalism from New York University. I currently work as a development producer at Hard Working Movies and am in production for my first short documentary about a dance-theater artist in rural Southern India and her fight to forge her own path through the beloved characters she portrays.

I also love world-building through photography and am open to requests!
